Client Relationship & Advisor

Job Description:

Commercial Credit Underwriter (UW) is responsible for underwriting of credit transactions with minimal oversight from the Credit Officer (CO) and Commercial Credit Manager (CCM). The UW provides ongoing management and primary accountability for all monitoring and maintenance activities on an assigned portfolio. UWs have accountability for delivering accurate and consistent data. They monitor client operating performance and financial condition to proactively identify risks, issues and opportunities. They deliver financial, industry, economic and other analysis to facilitate decision making, while also ensuring adherence to credit policies, guidelines, and applicable regulatory requirements. The UWs provide ongoing coaching and support to other Credit Products team members, as applicable. They report to the Commercial Credit Manager (CCM) and partner closely with COs. * Candidates could be hired as an UW I or II depending on skills and experience

Required Skills:
-BS/BA Degree
-3+ years of experience in financial analysis, underwriting, and portfolio management
-Strong communication and analytical/technical skills, including financial accounting and modeling

Desired Skills:
-Understanding of loan documentation and financial covenant testing
