- Laughing Gull Restaurant, a colorful atmosphere, and Caribbean-infused cuisine, you can escape to a tropical paradise while enjoying food and beverage all prepared with an island flair.
- Oystercatcher Restaurant and Bar, a comfortable lobby bar and patio serving an array of globally-inspired small plates and shareable dishes are the perfect addition to your day at the resort. The impressive culinary team has crafted a sustainable seafood-focused, fusion menu, accompanied by a selection of signature cocktails.
- Catering/Events Sous Chef supports the Banquet Culinary team in creating a culinary experience whether it is for a 600-person event or a 50-person wedding on the beach.

Qualifications:
The Sous Chef is responsible for monitoring the daily functions of one of these areas including providing support and guidance to the culinary team, and creating, implementing, and maintaining quality standards. Previous Culinary Management experience is required.
- Develop and implement creative menu items that adhere to Hyatt brand standards
- Manage colleagues through scheduling, payroll, training, coaching, evaluating, and hiring
- Monitor food production, ordering, cost, quality, and consistency on a daily basis
- Ensure proper safety and sanitation of all kitchen facilities and equipment
- Ability to work a flexible schedule that will likely include evenings, weekends, and holidays
Pay Range: Based on Experience
Qualifications
Working Conditions:
- While primarily an indoor job, must be able to work at outdoor locations on occasion, walking on uneven surfaces;
- Must be able to stand on feet and walk throughout the day
- Must be able to frequently lift and carry up to 25 lbs. & occasionally lift, carry, push & pull up to 50 lbs;
- Must be able to perform simple grasping, fine manipulation, reaching and repetitive hand & arm movements constantly; squeezing and overhead reaching occasionally
- Must be able to twist and bend frequently, and squat occasionally
